Hello there! My name is Amelia - I build production-ready AI/ML systems from scratch. I have worked in a variety of companies ranging from a small startup with an AI/ML team of two people (me included) to Big Tech corporations. Despite this, I kept ending up in teams with the same problem: no existing AI/ML product and infrastructure. I built the first AI/ML platforms for my teams at Crunchyroll and Amazon Web Services starting from nothing. I also conceptualized, trained, and deployed my team's first few AI/ML products during my time at Evid Science, AWS, and Crunchyroll.

My experience taught me something most engineers never have to learn: building frictionless systems from scratch requires knowledge spanning multiple domains. I’ve seen first-hand how projects can fall apart when teams don’t understand the full picture. For example, I was once hired to scale a model to serve millions of users — the model I inherited could only run on a single CPU core. I had to scrap it and start over, losing weeks of model development time on something that couldn't do the one thing it was built for. To avoid this, I build solutions with the 'wholistic picture' in mind. Wholistic AI was created to deliver complete systems that simply work because the full scope has been considered at every step of the process. It’s not just about the machine learning models or the software - it’s about making sure every piece fits seamlessly together and accomplishes what it is meant to do.
